Installing Mautic with Docker on Ubuntu 16.04

Mautic is an open source marketing automation web application. Mautic provides Javascript forms that can easily be incorporated into your organisational website (see the forms at the bottom of each page of our website for example) by copying and pasting the “embed” code… These can be customised to your heart’s content, and they allow you to engage with site visitors and make it easy for them to opt into receiving further communication, like newsletters or lead follow up emails. Mautic has a full HTML email templating system with a variety of sharp looking pre-made templates, among other advanced capabilities. I like to describe Mautic to people as “MailChimp, on steroids”. Here’s how you can set up your own instance using an Ubuntu 16.04 VM, Docker, Docker Compose, Nginx, and MariaDB.
