Ewing) of Red Hat… and asked how Red Hat was emerging as guy in
the white hat, so to speak, when it came to attracting venture
capital support. As of year-end 1998, Red Hat was the Linux
marketplace leader for systems sold, with 53.8 percent vs. 10.4
percent for its nearest competitor, S.U.S.E., according to
International Data Corp.”
