“IBM stepped up its commitment to the Linux operating system at
the PC Expo show in New York last week.”

“The company announced a partnership with Caldera to provide
education and support to resellers and companies using Linux. IBM

Ransom Love, chief executive of Caldera. Software vendors welcomed
the move and said the pieces were falling into place for using
Linux for real business applications.”
