After being in development for the past few months, Krita 3.1 is now that most advanced version of the application, bringing cool new features like full support for Apple’s Mac OS X operating system, as well as the ability to render an animation to MKV, GIF, MP4, or OGG files using the FFmpeg multimedia framework. Also new in Krita 3.1, there’s a brand-new color selector that can be accessed with the “Dual color” button from the top toolbar and promises to allow users to select HDR colors and colors that are outside the sRGB gamut of their screen. It also supports more accurate color picking from Krita windows and improves palette support.
