Surely someone at Netscape Communications Corp. must have
realised by now that their current dominance on the UNIX/Linux
platform could be the key to repeat business success?
Surely
they’ve realised that other than Netscape, there aren’t many
feasible graphical alternatives for web browsing under UNIX? Surely
even they aren’t so short sighted to miss out on this huge
opportunity that is staring them in the face, to rejuvenate their
dieing browser business, and make the entire Linux community happy?
Surely not?…”

“Netscape has a decision to make – it’s essentially a ‘shape up
or ship out’ dilemma. We Linux users are crying out for browser
stability, we’re crying out for integrated speedy browsing
solutions, we’re crying out for the ability to use the occasional
java applet without worrying about it bringing X down… good
grief… surely we’re not crying out for Internet Explorer
5.Linux?”
