“I am excited that such a large company could see the potential of Linux (and open source) and run with it. But one thing that would make me even more excited is to see IBM include OS/2 in this venture.”

“I have heard reports that IBM may be dropping OS/2 Warp, and I have recently found out that this may be true. According to an article on Slashdot, Warp 5 won’t be out this year, or ever. It would be such a waste to see this happen. Even if this rumor is not true, I would like to see IBM release OS/2 Warp’s graphical user interface (GUI) under an open source license.
