Linux.com: What are some of the highlights of
LinuxTag 2000?”

Klaus Knopper: The pillars on which
LinuxTag 2000 stands are: The free expo and conference+speeches,
the business congress, and the Job forum. The highlights are the
open source groups showing the current development of GNU/Linux and
other free operating systems and applications as well as companies
showing their products on the Linux platform.

“The goal of the conference, talks and speeches and the expo is
to give as much information as possible at no cost to the public.
There is no entrance fee for the expo and conference (except for
the business congress which takes place on Thursday).”

“On Thursday, the first ZopeCon is being established at
LinuxTag. Richard Stallman from the Free Software Foundation and
Alan Cox, the Linux kernel hacker, will give speeches and answer
questions. Other speakers are: Kalle Dalheimer (KDE), Matthias
Ettrich (Trolltech, KDE), Rasterman (Enlightenment) and many more
well-known names from the free and open source software
community.”
