Linux Container Adoption Set to Grow Rapidly

The study which included the responses of 774 participants, with 75 percent of enterprises noting that Linux is their primary cloud platform. The 75 percent figure is up from 70 percent when the same study was done in 2011. Linux is growing in the cloud at the expense of Windows which now holds a 23 percent share, while Unix holds a 2 percent share.
