“Since the beginning of the Beagle project, the functionality
and speed of the application has improved immensely, however the UI
remained pretty much the same.

“But finally it has happened. The new UI of the Beagle Search
tool has been merged into the main Beagle CVS tree today.
Previously known as ‘Holmes’ (which was separated as a CVS module),
this is a significant improvement from the previous UI. As CVS code
was tested, some of the dependencies were very recent, so if you
wish to try this out it is likely that you will have to do a lot of
compiling unless you use a bleeding-edge distribution…”
