“This is my second article aimed at new users of the Linux Mint
distribution. My first article is on installing a dual-boot setup
with Linux Mint and Windows XP. In this article, I would like to
talk you through some basic things one should know about using
Linux Mint, and generally just help you be productive in your new
OS environment. I am going to direct my articles toward a single
home PC connected to the Internet, with multiple users.
