system used by the government of the Autonomous Community of
Extremadura, Spain, was released. This new release confirms that
the regional government is determined to bet on free software.

“Extremadura is one of 17 autonomous communities in Spain. Each
one of these communities includes one or more provinces and has
considerable independence from the central government, including
the right to decide, among other things, its educational
system…”
