Central user configuration on Mandrake?

A system administrator writes: “I have a network of machines all
running various versions of mandrake. My biggest problem at the
moment is that several people need to use the network on various
machines and I don’t want to be bothered about the stupid problems
you get when each machine has it’s own user administration. I’ve
seen a document called: System Authentication using LDAP. That
might work, but I haven’t tried it yet. I was wondering if there is
an easy way to do in in mandrake?” http://www.mandrakeforum.com/article.php?sid=916&lang=en
