Linux Mint 17.2, code-named “Rafaela,” was officially released on June 30 by Linux Mint founder Clement Lefebvre, providing users with an incremental update over the Linux Mint 17.1 release that debuted on Nov. 29, 2014.

Linux Mint’s focus is always on the desktop, and the 17.2 update aims to further improve the desktop user experience with additional polish and fine-tuning on both the Cinnamon and MATE desktops.
