“Surely that is more of an Apricot failing than a Linux
one? It is hard not to accept that a modicum of work at the Apricot
end would have resulted in a Linux OS that is just as user friendly
as a Windows XP one out of the box. After all, every other netbook
manufacturer that I can think of has a Linux version and the
Internet is not awash with complaints about installation.”

“Of course, choosing SuSE Linux Enterprise Edition might have
had something to do with it, what’s wrong with a Ubuntu variant or
one of the many dumbed-down-distros just crying out for netbook
use?”
