The Linux Today Web site experienced a rare outage this
morning.

While the Linux Today system administrator slept in the early
morning hours of May 18, the Linux Today Web site went down and
displayed merely a site directory listing for several hours.

The failure was caused when the Web server ran out of disk space
and made it impossible to refresh the home page.

As soon as the problem was noticed, it was quickly corrected by
moving some log files to another drive.

Our warmest thanks go out to the many readers who wrote to tell
us of the problem and express their concern.

Linux Today regrets the inconvenience to our readers.
