Linuxbrew is the fork of Homebrew. It can be used both on Mac OS and Linux. It does the same job as Homebrew does. You can install in on your Linux system’s home directory, and it does not need root access. Linuxbrew allows you to install packages which are not packaged by the native distribution. It also allows to install most up-to-date applications and packages.
