[ Thanks to Joe Ammann for
this announcement. ]

The first Swiss LinuxConference takes place
in Zuerich. It is targeted at professional Linux users, and has
both a conference and an exhibition part. Sponsors include Corel,
IBM, Dell, Intel, SGI, Oracle and others. The Swiss Open Systems User Group helped
in organising the conference.

The conference part is organised in 3 tracks: development,
solutions and strategies. Speakers from the Open Source Community
include Frank Hecker from collab.net, Alexandre Julliard from
the WINE project, Lars
Eilebrecht from the Apache Software
Foundation
and many others.

This is the first big Conference event in Switzerland to be
exclusively dedicated to Linux and Open Source Software!
