“Team ASA is shipping an XScale-based Linux system designed to
fit in a CD drive bay. The NPWR-SCE is based on an Intel storage
processor, sports dual gigabit-Ethernet ports and a removable SATA
hard drive, and targets military and EMS vehicles, NAS, iSCSI
controllers, web servers, and ’embedded Linux engines,’ the company
says.

“According to Team ASA, the NPWR-SCE can be installed in any PC
with an open 5.25-inch half-height drive bay. The 5 x 8 inch steel
case has dual cooling fans, and will maintain air flow ‘even in the
tightest configurations,’ the company claims…”
