now, Doom 3 is the latest game released by id Software. It
represents the first release in the next generation of gaming
engines. It contains dynamic shadowing, an advanced physics engine,
and gorgeous modeling and texturing. We won’t be going into all of
the definitions and details of what this engine provides, as many
other sites have done this. We plan of focusing on this game as it
plays under Linux and we’ll be showing you performance and
graphics’ details.
