“Yesterday at noon, Intel released their new Pentium 4 3.46GHz
EE (Extreme Edition) processor and new 925XE Express chipset. This
chipset and processor bring a faster front-side bus to the Intel
platform and offers an extra 60MHz to the existing Pentium 4 EE.
Will this extra FSB bandwidth be enough to gain some ground on
AMD’s lead in the desktop market? We’ll throw this new platform
into the mix and see what happens…”
