Thanks to Jeff Garzik for
this report.

Jim Pick writes:

I have been the volunteer webmaster for LinuxHQ.com for the past
2 years. The linuxhq.com domain is no longer accessable, because
the original creator of the website has taken back the domain name.
The reasoning behind all of this is still quite mysterious to me. I
can only speculate on the reasons.

This means that the following websites have “disappeared”:

  http://linuxhq.com/ LinuxHQ
  http://edge.linuxhq.com/ Cutting Edge Linux
  http://juanjox.linuxhq.com/ ipmasqadm

Additionally, anybody that was using a @linuxhq.com name for
their email will no longer be getting mail.

I sensed something was up a week ago. As a precaution, I
registered “kernelnotes.org” in the event that this happened. The
new domain should appear in tonight’s root server update. The sites
should be available tomorrow as:

  http://kernelnotes.org/ LinuxHQ (204.209.212.113)
  http://edge.kernelnotes.org/ Cutting Edge Linux
  http://juanjox.kernelnotes.org/ ipmasqadm

Hopefully, this is only a temporary situation. Sorry for any
inconvenience – this is completely beyond my control.

As a temporary measure, the website is currently available
at:
http://linuxhq.jimpick.com/.
