It began this morning, innocently enough with an ailing
server and a quaint fantasy for a new Linux distribution.
I
stared into the sea of gritty coffee cups atop my desk and dreamt
of the distribution that would change my life once and for all…a
distribution that would make me feel prettier and more stable than
the average Microsoft product, while still providing me with a
sense of belonging in what so often seems like a cold, cruel
world.”

“Without waiting for approval from Red Hat, I decided to set
forth with my plans for several specialized Linux distributions
aimed at forming a more perfect union by accelerating community
development and fragmentation into an ultimate, entropic
collision.”

“This multifaceted project shall be known under the umbrella
title: Alternative Lifestyle Linux. Although not yet ready to be
published under the GNU General Public License, the project is
dedicated to the free software movement: All proceeds will go to
efforts to have Richard Stallman canonized.”
