LinuxPlanet: Review: The No BS Guide to Red Hat Linux 6

“This book is aimed at beginners to using Linux. However, as it
is quite comprehensive, it could be a good resource for someone who
already runs Linux, and wants to switch to an up-to-date version of
Redhat.”

“As an overview of Redhat 6 this book is excellent. It
covers everything of interest at a level of detail quite sufficient
to get you up and running and doing useful work.”

“The only reservations I would have about the book are on little
things. The chapter on connecting to the Internet could have had
slightly more detail. Hooking up to your ISP is painless for most,
but does seem to generate a lot of questions. I wouldn’t have
explained Perl the way the programming chapter does. But–nothing
to get heated about.”
