McCormick Place has to offer. The other halls were filled with a
waste management convention.”
“Linux Business Expo, the bastard child of COMDEX, had already
been canceled, but there were only a dozen or so Linux-related
booths in COMDEX proper. When VA Linux CEO Larry Augustin gave his
keynote speech, only 50 people showed up to hear it. I’d give
better than even odds that most of them were investors wondering
where their money went.”
