“FROM THE DESK OF: Emmett Plant, Editor-in-Chief –
Linux.com.”

“Atlanta Linux Showcase marks the second appearance of Linux.com
Live! Linux.com Live! is based on the idea of interacting with
the Linux community, both online and in person.
Even if you’re
unable to make it to the Atlanta Linux Showcase, you can still
participate in the fun online! The topic for this Live! event will
be kernel compiling and customizations — everything from
downloading and patching a kernel to securing it and adding your
own bootup logo. We’ll be taking questions and answers from the
live audience as well as an IRC audience, so be sure to stop by our
booth on Thursday from 10am-12pm to take part in the event! Also,
be sure to stop by the OSDN booth for all the latest updates.”
