Reduced kernel size to solve past memory footprint
problems.

“Coollogic, Inc. today announced it will begin shipping this
week its new embedded Coollinux operating system, which will
improve the product development and deployment cycle for
manufacturers of consumer electronics and manufacturers of a wide
range of Internet access devices.”

“Coollinux is a real time Linux operating system that has solved
the past technical challenges of reducing the kernel size to meet
the memory footprint and functionality requirements of embedded
systems that, in the past, could not be applied to most
applications because of memory and cost constraints. Coollinux can
be pared down to less than 355 kilobytes, which fits small,
memory-lean devices like Internet access devices.”
