“IndyBox Corporation announced they would be lowering the price
of their AMD Athlon based 500MHz ~ 700MHz KA Series by 25%.
Pricing begins at $1,000.00, with one of the many GNU/Linux
distributions pre-installed and optimized with the latest stable
kernel and X server.
KA 4U and 6U rack mountable versions
start at $1,250 and $1,675.00 with a wide array of hardware options
all optimized for Linux.

“IndyBox Systems Chief Executive Charles Martin said “with the
recent demand for AMD Athlon based KA Series we have experience
since announcing the world’s first GNU/Linux AMD Athlon system two
weeks ago purchases have dramatically increased over similarly
priced Intel processor based Linux systems.”
