RockSolid
Enterprises
, a provider of innovative Information
Appliances including routers, Internet Access Devices and Business
/ Residential Gateways demonstrate the first of its RockSolid
Box line of Internet Access Devices (IADs) in Atlanta during the
week of September 26 at the Networld+Interop / Linux Business Expo
2000 trade shows.”

RockSolid Box
IADs
are powerful and secure, yet easily managed through
innovative Web-based and console-based interfaces. The devices
combine multiple features that were formerly only attainable by
linking sets of high-end routers, firewalls, and VPN devices.
What’s more, RockSolid Enterprises breaks the barriers for usage by
providing local and remote management features that are both
straightforward for beginning users and highly customizable for
expert users and IT professionals.”

“As small businesses and home consumers increasingly switch from
PC Based dial-up accounts to xDSL and Cable Broadband access to the
Internet, we believe the demand for small business and home-based
LANs will increase dramatically”, said Stephen C.
Nodvin, Ph.D.
, the President of RockSolid Enterprises. “Users
will need and want powerful and easy-to-use Internet Access
Devices, like our RockSolid Boxes, to securely interface their
local LANs to their new Broadband Internet connections and to
interface to their organizations’ VPNs.” Nodvin cited studies that
project the home networking equipment & residential gateway
market to grow to over $5.7 billion by 2004.”
