IntraLinux has joined in the effort to balance the
Microsoft press coverage by creating a street fair in front of
Moscone Center on the day Bill Gates is to launch Windows
2000.

“IntraLinux is sponsoring a street fair in front of the Moscone
Center with two events scheduled at 8:30 AM and 11:30 AM on
February 17, 2000. The event will be held between 3rd and 4th
Street on Howard in San Francisco.”

“IntraLinux, Inc. is trying to help the business community learn
more about the strategic value of open source solutions while
bringing some clean fun into a rather serious and conservative
exposition. IntraLinuxä
representatives will be handing out free penguin peppermints,
stuffed penguins and Linux information.”
