LinuxPR: Kamoon Selects Jabber.com for Real-Time Knowledge Commerce

(Nasdaq: WEBB), today announced that Kamoon, Inc., the
infrastructure software company that powers the expert services
component of business on the Web, has licensed Jabber.com’s
Commercial Server 2.0 as the foundation for real-time component of
customer interaction and expert services. By integrating
Jabber.com’s instant messaging technology, Kamoon’s clients, mainly
financial and professional services companies, enhance the ability
to deliver and manage real-time expertise-based interactions and
services online, and can tap in-house knowledge capital for
commerce.”

“At the core of the Kamoon solution is its patent-pending Smart
Engine technology with a proprietary, dynamic logic engine. Its
end-to-end Knowledge Commerce Solution connects a customer with
specific needs for advice to the right expert, either inside or
across an extended enterprise network, by applying business
processes for online channel development, smart routing and
matching, customer-expert interaction management, transactional
bidding and billing, business intelligence, and partner management.
Kamoon allows a company to implement business rules that define its
business practices with an administrative interface and also
empowers a company to update and change business policies and
professional profiles on the fly as market conditions change. With
clients in the financial services, professional services, and B2B
marketplace, Kamoon is rapidly becoming the standard for knowledge
commerce.”

“Under the agreement, Jabber.com’s professional services
group will assist Kamoon with the integration of commercial Jabber
server technology. This integration will encompass both Kamoon’s
hosted solutions and includes an OEM license of Jabber.com’s
Commercial Server v2.0 for bundling with Kamoon’s premise-based
software solutions.
New Jabber enabled services will provide
Kamoon customers with an ability to share corporate knowledge
through real-time interaction with experts. Kamoon has also entered
into a support and maintenance contract with Jabber.com to support
Kamoon’s commercial enterprise offerings. The two parties have also
entered into a joint marketing relationship to facilitate awareness
of the integrated products.”
