Linux India, the organisation of Linux User Groups in
India, today announced its participation in the Linux Pavilion of
Bangalore IT.COM ’99, to be held on November 1-5 in Bangalore,
India.

“The stall is unique in its concept – rather than selling any
product, it will cater to the education of visitors to Bangalore
IT.COM ’99 in all matters regarding Linux – the operating system
now making waves the world over – under the motto “Seeing is
Believing.”

“The stall will also present a “show of power” vis-a-vis Linux,
by demonstrating it running on a variety of platforms, running an
assortment of software packages – including office suites,
networking and system administration applications, Internet access,
Intranet support, multi-media and graphics applications,
educational, scientific and engineering software and cross-platform
application support.”
