Aficionados from the world of Linux will gather in Sydney
in March for the largest Linux exhibition and conference in the
Southern Hemisphere.

“The Linux Open Source Expo & Conference will be staged
concurrently with IT 2000, at the Sydney Convention &
Exhibition Centre, 7-10 March 2000. Keynote speakers will be Bob
Bishop, CEO of SGI and Robert Young, CEO of Red Hat Systems – two
of the biggest names in the Linux industry. These Keynote speeches
will be free to all registered expo visitors, preferential seating
will be allocated to conference delegates.”

“This will be the first time that Bob Bishop and Robert Young
have spoken in their current roles in Australia,” said Martin
Nightingale, Sales Manager for the organisers, Australian
Exhibition Services. “We are extremely honoured that they have
chosen to make keynote presentations at our conference.”
