LinuxMall.com, the

distributor of Linux products, and userfriendly.org, a leading online
entertainment destination for the global IT technical community,
jointly announced a sponsorship, marketing and promotional
partnership today at Comdex Chicago.”

“The US$1.2 million agreement, described as “User Friendly
Media’s Dust Puppy Joins Forces with Tux the Penguin,” is payable
over 24 months to User Friendly Media Inc. (owner of
userfriendly.org). The lead component of the partnership agreement
includes a User Friendly-branded Web storefront that will sell
LinuxMall.com’s lineup of Linux products, as well as merchandise
and other goods from the userfriendly.org Web site. This storefront
will connect directly to LinuxMall.com’s award-winning e-commerce
system for backend fulfillment and service on all sales from the
site.”

“Both companies will also jointly develop advertising and
marketing programs designed to promote the names, growth and
branding of both User Friendly Media Inc. and LinuxMall.com.

In addition, LinuxMall.com will receive cartoon and original game
content for use in the new entertainment section on its Web site
and permission to use User Friendly Media’s copyrighted characters
for their own promotional and advertising programs.”
