arrived in Latin America with their Linux distribution
“Linux-Mandrake.”
“Along with Mandrake Soft, the event was sponsored by “Caldera
Systems”, “Prisma Opentech” (Prisma is the Mandrake’s Master
distributor in South America), “Sun Microsystems” and “SuSE GmBh”.
Computer experts attended the event, including scientists from the
IVIC (Venezuela’s Scientific Researh Institute) who speak about how
they use the Mandrake Linux distribution.”
