LinuxPR: MontaVista Joins Intel Applied Computer Provider Program

“MontaVista Software, Inc., developer of the Hard Hat Linux
operating system for embedded applications, today announced
participation in the Intel Applied Computing Platform Provider
Program (ACPP). MontaVista will work with Intel to deliver
embedded Intel Architecture-based board and system level solutions
to applied computing customers.

“We are pleased to include MontaVista in our ACPP program.” Said
Joe Jensen, General Manager, Embedded Intel Architecture Division,
Intel Corporation. “Their open-source software solutions and
comprehensive service model adds additional depth to our program
and helps to expand our ability to enable faster-time-to-market for
developers of applied computing applications.”

“MontaVista Software products provide a reliable Linux resource
for Intel Architecture-based platforms, from wireless appliances to
complete system solutions with a focus on rapid development and
deployment. Participation in the ACPP program will enable
MontaVista customers using Intel to develop open source solutions
for their applied computing applications with Hard Hat Linux
solutions based on 100% pure Linux with no run-time royalties.”
