SiteScape Forum 5.0 simplifies the customization process
with new HTML template architecture; extends the collaboration
environment into the in-box; and integrates Web File
System.

“SiteScape, Inc., a leading provider of easy-to-use web-based
collaboration software and infrastructure tools, announced
SiteScape Forum Version 5.0 which makes collaboration simpler and
easier to use for all types of departmental and enterprise
environments. While Forum can still be used straight out of the
box, Version 5.0 features a new HTML template architecture that
lets customers and VARs quickly and easily tailor Forum to their
teams’ particular needs. The newly added capability to e-mail
attachments in or out of forums enables users to collaborate in a
manner that’s comfortable to them, whether it’s in a forum or
through an e-mail client. In addition, Forum 5.0 includes a Web
File System (WFS) that recreates the familiar Windows file system
metaphor on the Web for a streamlined way to share files and
information without the overhead of a discussion forum.”

“There isn’t a collaboration tool today that has the
flexibility, extendibility, and customizability of SiteScape Forum
5.0,” said Tim Butler, SiteScape’s president and CEO. “Forum 5.0
still enables collaborative work in small groups, but it now also
readily facilitates cross-departmental or enterprise teams, too. We
are constantly working to make Forum fit into your environment,
rather than force-fitting your work environment into Forum.”
