“Penguin Computing announced today that it is beginning a
concerted campaign to connect the Linux community with non-profit
and progressive organizations. As a first step, the fast growing
San Francisco based Linux solutions company will be sponsoring
The Philanthropy News Network’s Conference on Non Profits and
Technology at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco from July 22-July
23.”

“Progressive and non-profit organizations are looking at
potential alternatives to Microsoft and they are always looking to
support businesses that don’t consider making money to be the only
ultimate goal.” said Nick Thompson, Penguin Computing’s Director of
Marketing.”
