Rave Computer Association, Inc., a leading Sun Microsystems
authorized Master value-added integrator, has positioned its Rave
Systems RackMount-2UAXi as a UltraSPARC-IIi server appliance
operating on Linux or Solaris operating system. (Sterling

) Rave Computer Association,
Inc., a leading Sun Microsystems authorized Master value-added
integrator, has positioned its Rave Systems RackMount-2UAXi as a
UltraSPARC-IIi server appliance operating on Linux or Solaris
operating system.

The Rave Systems RackMount-2UAXi (RM-2UAXi) is Rave Computer’s
newest addition to the Rave Systems AXi family. The RM-2UAXi comes
standard in a sleek 19″ 2U form factor chassis integrated with
Sun’s UltraAXi motherboard, a 300 Watt auto-ranging power supply,
six cooling fans and two 33MHz/32Bit PCI slots. The Rave Systems
RackMount-2UAXi can hold up to 1GB of memory, accommodate up to
three internal low profile 7,200 or 10,000 RPM disk drives or two
half height drives, and can be pre-loaded with Red Hat Linux 6.0 or
Solaris 7 operating system.

The Rave Systems AXi family which consists of RackMount-5UAXi,
Rackmount-2UAXi, and Tower-AXI, utilizes Sun’s Ultra(tm)AXi
motherboard that has robust standard features such as upgradable
UltraSPARC-IIi processor modules with processing speeds now up to
440MHz, integrated dual-channel Ultra wide SCSI, and 32-bit PCI
slots.

The Rave AXi systems provide powerful solutions for the
network-intensive industries such as ISP, Telecommunications and
Digital Imaging.
