“World Famous LUG party now in its 4th year hosted by The Linux
Show!!”
“Jeff Gerhardt, Producer and Co-host of The Linux Show!!
announced today, “We are very pleased to announce that we are again
going to have our annual BattleTech LUG party the same week as
Spring Comdex and the Linux Business Expo. The expo is held the
week of April 2nd through 5th at Chicago’s McCormick Place.”
“The location of the party will once again be the famous Dave
& Busters in Chicago. Last years party was sponsored by a
number of vendors, with Linuxcare picking up the major share of the
gaming tab. The game pods were packed the entire night. At final
count, well over 200 players participated in groups of BattleTech
virtual combat games. That works out to $1,200.00 worth of
Batletech. The actual number of people at the party is not
known.”
