TurboLinux, Inc., the high-performance Linux company, today
announced that First Credit Bank of Los Angeles is using TurboLinux
Server as the underlying operating system of its enterprise
infrastructure.

“We are extremely happy with the performance of TurboLinux,”
said Kourosh Ghassemieh, Information Systems Director for First
Credit Bank. “The bank’s officers wanted a secure product and that
was the biggest reason I went with TurboLinux. TurboLinux
out-of-the-box installs without the security holes found with other
Linux distributions. Setting up the TurboLinux server was a snap. I
just installed it, made sure Samba was running and copied all the
files over. The whole process took about an hour.”

“First Credit Bank is a perfect example of how many financial
institutions
are turning to TurboLinux for their enterprise needs,” said Mike
Duffy, vice president of global enterprise sales and services at
TurboLinux.”
