LinuxWorld from a Wine Perspective

Thanks to Skip Collins
for this link.

Douglas Ridgway describes the Wine-related activity at the
“First World Wine Developer’s Conference.”

“Wine was one of the big stories of the conference. Mike
Cowpland’s keynote featured Wine prominently (although he untipped
the Wine glass), and the Corel guys were proudly demoing how well
Quattro runs under Wine. Jeremy White’s CodeWeavers announced their
Wine/Twin merge, called Twine, and had brisk traffic through their
booth. A good fraction of the time you could find Rob Farnum,
Alexandre Julliard, and Gav State hanging out discussing ELF-DLL
loading strategies while Jeremy tossed balls of twine to
passers-by.”
