Thanks to Dan York for
this report.

The Linux Professional Institute is currently working to develop
a community-based, internationally-available professional
certification program in Linux. When the program is deployed early
this summer, Linux administrators will be able to demonstrate their
professional competence by successfully passing examinations.

If you would like to be notified when LPI is ready to begin
certification testing, please visit http://www.lpi.org/register.html
and submit your email address.

Please visit the main web site at http://www.lpi.org/ for more information
about the LPI program.
