“Lately, Microsoft has been feeling the heat from a hot LAMP, a
combination of the Linux operating system (the ‘L’), Apache Web
server (the ‘A’), MySQL database (the ‘M’) and scripting languages
PHP, Perl or Python (choose any for the ‘P’) . The Big M has
launched a strategy to extinguish LAMP (or at least dissuade its
clients from using it), but what is Apple’s response?

“Microsoft’s anti-LAMP strategy is to heap features into its
low-end products and to build a comprehensive set of
tools—spanning development to management—in the hopes
of making Windows Server more attractive…”
