“The latest member of the MandrakeSoft family of
websites is launched today. This new site, aptly called
MandrakeSecure is a website following MandrakeSoft’s tradition of
delivering high quality security tools to our end users and
customers. MandrakeSecure is the latest in our arsenal to help you
secure your Mandrake Linux system.

MandrakeSecure is a website devoted completely to security. It
provides new mailing lists on security topics, an online discussion
forum to discuss security with others around the globe, and
invaluable links to security resources available on the internet,
from security-related websites to open source security tools. It
also features articles written specifically for Mandrake Linux
users to help them understand security, and why security is
important.

We believe that MandrakeSecure will prove to be an invaluable
resource of reference material. We all know that security is an
evolving situation, there is no such thing as being completely
secure (unless your computer is off and unplugged, of course). To
that end, MandrakeSecure will evolve with current security trends
in an effort to provide you the most up-to-date information dealing
with system security, as it pertains to Mandrake Linux.”
