“February 4 2000 – A new ISO image of Mandrake 7.0 is available.
It fixes a severe problem that occured when resizing certain FAT
partitions and several other little dysfonctionements[sic]. Here is
a sumary of the bugs that have been fixed:”

  • “bug in fat resizing causing data loss fixed
  • no more auto fat resizing in expert and custom
  • better fat-error handling (you could not pass the error
    message)
  • Mylex DAC 960 hardware RAID handling fixed
  • auto-configuration bug for Matrox G100 (and some other very
    seldom used) fixed
  • a few mis-autoconfiguration fix (tulip NIC)
  • one more kind of GeForce video card autodetected
  • removed the conv=auto option for FAT partitions which caused
    freezes with kfm”
