The city of Porto, well know by its traditions and by the
famous Porto wine, will receive (14th of July) a Mega-event called
“Porto – Cidade Linux – Cidade Tecnológica”, in the centre
of the City. The main plate of this event is a MegaLIP (“Linux
Installation Party”), specially dedicated to the schools and
companies of the northern part of Portugal. The event was planned
by “Reino Linux”, a LUG that was born in the Faculty of Engineering
of Porto University (FEUP), and is sponsored by the Mayor House of
the City.
