“On June 25, PC Week published the results of Mindcraft’s Open
Benchmark. The results, comparing performance of Microsoft Windows
NT Server 4.0 and Linux 2.2 addressed the original objections from
the Linux community, and were produced and audited by an
independent lab – PC Week Labs. In addition, the Linux servers were
configured and tuned by RedHat software’s own engineers.”

“Validating the original Mindcraft findings, the results of
these tests show that Windows NT Server outperforms Linux under
every configuration and test.”
