Microsoft responds to excerpts from the videotaped deposition of
Bryan Sparks, Caldera.
“Mr. Sparks surprisingly acknowledges that Caldera includes a
browser with its Linux operating system because the company feels
it makes Linux more appealing to its customers. He admits that
Internet technologies are critically important to customers, and as
a result Caldera includes web browsing in its Linux OS.”
“Caldera agrees with Microsoft that Internet technologies in
operating systems are important for consumers. Caldera simply
designed its product differently.”
