“Microsoft Corporation has welcomed the current debate on the
proposed global standardization of the Ecma Office Open Extensible
Markup Language (Open XML) as positive and good according to
Microsoft Corporation.

“Microsoft also said that over 2 000 partners representing 67
countries on six continents have given their green light for the
ratification of the OOXML by the International Standards
Organisation (ISO)…”
