Mirantis Unlocks OpenStack Appliances with Quanta and Supermicro

While the open-source OpenStack cloud platform is software, like all software at the bottom layer it requires hardware to run on. OpenStack vendor Mirantis first announced its Unlocked Appliances initiative in July 2015 as an effort working with hardware vendors to build OpenStack cloud appliances and has been growing the program ever since.
